but downtown isn't that nice - yet? it's a alternative to the normal boxes, but the parking is a pain, their is no free breakfast. I was here on a Wednesday night and it was still a little noise from the street/bars. i'd stay again, but know know what to expect.

First of all, there is no parking at this hotel and the only spaces in front are for valet. There are no signs telling you where to park which lead to a 20 minute drive around the city looking for parking. Once I found parking a few blocks away, it only took cash. No $20's or credit accepted. I had... More

With a student starting at Carroll U in the fall, we will definitely be back to the Clarke. It's a fairly new boutique hotel in old downtown Waukesha, not too far from the Carroll campus. This is not a big city 5 star luxury boutique, so reset your expectations. Valet parking is available if you don't want to park in... More

While the room was lovely, I have a few problems with our stay. The website clearly stated that all rooms would have a tub. Having a knee injury, this was very important to me. Our room however did not have one. When Mentioned to the woman at the front desk I was blown off with some blaming of the website.... More

I was very nicely surprised by this hotel booked it for cheaper than alive the other chain hotels when I got there the room is amazing floor in the bathroom is not very clean the the bed was very soft, I prefer harder beds but I'm not complaining about that, pillows were very comfortable. The noise from the street was... More

This is a cozy, yet very modern hotel. We were so surprised to find this hidden gem. The room was large, had a gigantic, comfortable bed, ahhhh! Our bathroom was also quite large, with a jacuzzi tub, a separate large glass shower with several shower heads, all in beautiful marble tile. Lots of space in there. Of course a frig,... More

It was easy to find, NOT convenient to park (garage two blocks away). The check in desk was on the 2nd floor. It was very clean, no view from the window. The shower with multiple heads and body sprays was amazing! I've got to get that installed in my home! Never saw any staff after checking in. ZERO literature in... More

Get your best rate online for this surprising wonderful boutique hotel. Worth getting off I-94 and heading downtown Waukesha. Combine the stay with a visit to the unique art galleries downtown. Plenty of places to eat. Hotel rooms have very tall ceilings, large windows, mood lighting, wonderful beds. Some rooms have sort of funky dimensions, certainly not a square room,... More

We booked the Clarke hotel for Friday of Labor Day weekend and when we first arrived, we realized that there were several parking spots reserved for unloading our bags and so we parked there. The hotel lobby is kind of non-traditional in that it's on the second floor, so when you want to enter to check in, you must press... More

We LOVED this hotel. Went on a Friday night and stopped in early to ask for parking details since the downtown has a festival every Friday with no street parking allowed. The gentleman at the front desk was great. We were able to check in earlier that thought and given directions to the parking garage. The parking garage is only... More
