I really wanted to be happy with this choice, but I was disappointed. The stale smell was impossible to escape. The windows do not open in the room, so you are dependant on the AC to vent the room. In Superior for convention at Barkers Island. Had confirmation no. for Barkers; a few days before conv., Barkers "bumped" me and roomates to Days Inn as they said they "overbooked." Had to pay same "group rate" of convention attendees of $100 per night--even though we were quoted over the phone $64 during week! Beds weren't even made! more

When we first arrived the lobby was very loud due to the band playing in the bar and there was a lot of activity. However, my husband requested a quiet room and we got it.
