Decided to see Door County over labor day weekend at the last minute. This resort looks nice on the web. Looks nice in person....but we came here for rest and relaxation....and to listen to the water hit the shore.... I'm up at 4:00 am..BECAUSE this is the only peaceful time before the Motors in the Roof start roaring!!!! How annoying, We cannot even sit outside on our patio. Sorry. more

Had a wonderful Valentines get away. Arrived to find we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite for free. Had asked for some extra bedding for our massage table - it was already in the room. Desk clerk (possibly owner??) not only gave advice on restaurants and bands but picked up the phone and called two places for details.... more
