It is such an amazing place, full of natural beauty and peace. We went for our anniversary. Rooms are excellent and well decorated. Hosts are lovely people who take care of you like family. There are so many great places to see nearby including vantage points from where you can see Mississippi and Wisconsin river merge. Driving in this area... More

My husband and I have visited this property about 5 times and we keep coming back. We are foodies and enjoy side trips to Viroqua with restaurants serving locally produced food and an excellent food coop. The LaFarge Dam project is featured at a near-by visitor's center... and there is ample paddling, biking and hiking for the most energetic visitors.... More

We had the most lovely time at the Inn! The Prairie Rose room was gorgeous and we especially loved the in-room whirlpool. The food was fantastic and Pete was a wonderful person to converse with. We hiked around the property and it is just beautiful! We will definitely return! More

We stayed in the main house and the accomodations were fabulous. Everything was exceptionally clean and neat; Pete and Nora were, as stated previously, friendly without being intrusive; and attention was paid to the details to create a pampered feeling. Nora's breakfasts were delicious and complete with interesting conversation. We really like the fact that they try to be very... More

This B&B is well appointed and sits on a beautiful piece of land. The B&B has rooms in the main house as well as two other buildings for couples or groups. We had a "girls weekend" and stayed at the homestead sharing both the upper and lower. It was set back in a valley and felt so serene. Both suites... More

Pete and Nora's Inn is a delightful retreat from the fast pace of everyday life. It is located at the end of a hollow between two bluff which creates a sense of being tucked away in a very peaceful and quiet land. The facilities are lovely; decorated with quality locally crafted Amish furniture, many windows so that light streams in,... More

This was the third B&B on a week long fall vacation. We saved the best for last. The grounds are beautiful, our room was perfect, and the hosts (Pete and Nora) are friendly without being intrusive. Their attention to detail and small "extras" made this an A+ experience. More

Our first visit to the Inn at Lonesome Hollow was in mid-May of this year. We loved the Inn, and the area so much we came back for a second stay. This time the owners, Pete and Nora, were out of town for a family event, and Joseph and Mary were are hosts for our two night stay. And, they... More

Loved the hummingbirds, butterflies and quiet nature. We hiked in the morning for a few miles on the property. The trails are not for the weak at heart as there is a steep climb up the ridge intially but the payoff is worth it. Breakfast was wonderful. Pete and Nora are great. Not much going on in the immediate area... More
