After reading these reviews. I figured...Why not express my opinion.. I have a "birds eyes view" of sorts. Now, see I am on what they call The MAIN Drag.. This is the road that will take you from the gate to the lake. No matter if your a seasonal or a weekender you will def travel past my lot to... More

Talk about the worst camping trip ever!! I would never go here again and I will tell everyone I know not to go their either. We live just down the road and thought it would be a nice little get away. What a joke, golf carts driving around all night not to mention the drunks screaming, yelling and honking the... More

I noticed there was some few bad reviews from the past, I believe this was due to the transition to the new owners. We had a travel trailer last year and had gone to many campgrounds and thought we would never stay in 1 place. Last June we ended up there last minute went back the following weekend and never... We used to be a sesonal back in the 70's and 80's infact my family had three sights back then. Couldn't wait to get up to lakeland every week-end and have some good times and good memories. After staying there this past week-end I was very upset with the way Lakeland has become. My grandson who is 3 was nearly... More

I was a little leary to visit this campground because of all the negative reviews. We travel in a 30ft travel trailer. My husband and I visited for a week for our 20th wedding anniversary with our two children...Daughter 17 and son 10. It is true that the campground consists of mainly seasonals but that doesn't bother us. Yes, there... More

The place is very over packed with units. Hope there is never a fire....the entire place will go up in flames. They are so close together. 600 of the sites are seasonal, guaranteed money for them. This place does not care about weekend guests that need an occassional get a way. The web site says they allow gas and battery... More

We had a larger group with young children and the biggest mistake we made was booking this campground. I would never recommend people to stay here with tents, this is all RV center and agents don't mention this to you. They ended putting us in the flood area which was terrible and way out of line. Once again this place... More

The bathrooms were horrible. Bugs all over the sinks at night. Other campgrounds I have stayed at have constant cleaning through the day and night. The mens toilets were all clogged. The showers have no temp. control and you have to keep pushing the knob to get water(like a sink). More

We are on a seasonal lot which is under water most of the time. Requests to management fall on deaf ears. Drainage or installation of gravel would be charged to the camper, even when we do not own the lot. We like the friendly atmosphere among fellow campers and would like to continue staying at Lakeland, but conditions at our... More
