This is my second review on Tripadvisor. The first was to negatively nit-pick a place in Minneapolis. I feel compelled to offer deserved kudos to The Chalet.

I stayed in an "Executive Suite", so this review might appear to be slanted too much to put up against a standard hotel room. HA! Don't believe that one. When you see how much it cost, you'll be executive quality any time you visit Mequon.

I travel the US for work 4 or 5 times a year; been doing it for many years. I stay at places like Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, LaQuinta Suites, etc. In fact, I had just stayed at the Hampton Inn in Appleton the night before I arrived at The Chalet in Mequon, WI.....so.....when I pulled up, it was a bit of culture shock. The Chalet is VERY reminiscent of a classic Wisconsin motel. It's 2 stories high, long and wide. It appears to be an original building with 2 more ramblers attached as it grew over the years.
