I have stayed in a number of bed and breakfasts, smaller hotels, and cabins in Door County. I wanted something affordable, casual, clean, quaint (smaller), and kind of quiet. Traveled to Door County with friends. Wanted to stay close to everything. The Ephraim Motel filled the bill perfectly without breaking our checkbooks. The owner is very friendly. We stayed at the Ephraim Motel in Ephraim, WI for a wonderful visit to Door County. Though it is not on the beachfront, it is a lovely, charming and inviting motel with a continental breakfast and not far from the beach at all. There are also shops near the motel. This is such a quaint motel and just lovely! It's set off of the often congested highway and sits back among the trees with a very nice inground swimming pool. Be sure to pick up some steaks and grill on the grounds in the quiet park like setting. We'll definitely go back! more
