We stayed in this lovely property with lovely views of the Banasura Hill. The property itself is huge which included sunrise point, a cave, a tea estate and a lovely stream where we were able spend a good time. The cuisine was also really tasty and very good and many choices to select from. The staff were very friendly and was available at tlyour service for any needs. Thanks for a memorable stay and would love to come back for other occasion.

We were a family of three including one child of 10 years, and we stayed for two nights here. The property is reasonably big and has a lot of places to walk around. It is maintained beautifully, and is lush green all around. There is a small stream nearby to walk upto. There Is a mini trail to hike up to a view puoint. Tea estates to walk around. Pros: Large property, lot of places to walk if you are nature lovers. Very courteous and helpful staff. Rooms are large and well maintained. [Basic facilities, though] Cons: The food choices are pretty limited, and they need to urgently change their chefs. Ala-Carte menu is very limited, and basically a subset of their buffet spread, which fore most part of the time is served cold. The swimming pool is at a beautiful location, however even basic things like towels are not provided near the pool. The spa, is a total rip off. The therapist does not appear to be trained, and the supposedly in charge person, keeps dropping in during a massage, I have never been interrupted so many times during a massage without basic etiquette of not entering a massage room when someone is being worked on. I seriously recommend not to use the spa The room was pretty basic, which is actually a good thing, however the towels they keep are non water absorbent ones, I wish they keep some towels which are cotton. I recommend the owners to install some easy chairs in open areas with the Mountain View, I would have really enjoyed my time reading a book facing the lovely mountains which the resort is facing to.

Dear Madhukar, Thank you for choosing to stay at our Banasura Hill Resort and taking the time to share your valuable feedback. We are delighted to hear that you, along with your family, enjoyed the natural beauty and spacious surroundings of our property during your two-night stay. We appreciate your kind words regarding the large and well-maintained rooms, as well as the courteous and helpful staff. It's heartening to know that you explored the various walking trails, tea estates, and the mini trail leading to a viewpoint. We understand the importance of maintaining a serene and lush green environment for nature enthusiasts like yourselves. We also appreciate your constructive feedback on areas that need improvement. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the limited food choices and the temperature of the buffet spread. Your comments about the swimming pool amenities, spa experience, and room towels are duly noted, and we assure you that we will address these concerns promptly to enhance the overall guest experience. Regarding your suggestion about installing easy chairs in open areas with mountain views, we find it insightful and will certainly consider it to further enhance our guests' experience. Once again, thank you for your detailed review. We visited this property end of 2022, to celebrate new year, and it was a big regret. The way to the resort is bumpy, the staff is so hostile, ignorant and rude. The pictures posted on the booking websites are very old, the property is run down. The food is so bad, that I even after many attempts I couldn’t break the gulab jamun. The support staff is untrained. We got a room which had seepage and felt damp through the night of our staff. The linens were stained, even after requesting for a change. Upon raising concerns, the manager decided to hide and thereafter ignore to avoid meeting us. It’s been the worst year end trip. Do not fall for the pictures. The property is in quite a bad shape. We decided to cut short our stay and escape the horror of it.

Dear Aakansha, Thank you for visiting Banasura Hill Resort and we appreciate your taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. We have received numerous accolades for our exemplary standards of service and zero tolerance for shortfalls, so it was rather unfortunate to learn that we fell short of your expectations and regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. I can see that the core of your grouse was our inability to inform you about the renovation and providing refund. Since your booking was through the travel agency, our team urged you to speak with them for refund and advise us accordingly. Having said that, you were given a free upgrade from the earth room to twin villa and room service as well. We also regret that you did not find the food at our resort to your liking. While our Kitchen staff have been commended on numerous occasions, so much as to make our restaurant a highlight of our resort for most of our guests, we do understand that taste can be very subjective. Based on this background, I can only infer that your insistence for an early check-out seem purely personal. Best Regards, Rajesh Vijayan

My wife and I visited the resort for New Years. The resort is at a great location with the view of the Banasura hill. All the staff in the resort, starting from the valet, to the front desk, to the guys in the restaurant, everyone is always looking to help and they always have a smile on their face. The owners were so wonderful and friendly as well. They treated us like family and that's one of the reasons why il definitely come back and stay at the property. The room was excellent and the next day we also got upgraded to the suite as it was available which was just so serene and peaceful. The food in the resort was absolutely yummy as well! Overall in absolutely loved the stay and I will definitely come back and also encourage my friends to stay at Banasura Hill Resort

Dear Sukanya,, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It was rather unfortunate to learn that we fell short on some of your expectations and regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. Located in the forest region with lots of green spaces in the resort, it is pretty challenging to have an insect-free eco-system. While we employ a professional pest management company, we also try hard to balance the ecosystem by using natural ingredients for insect prevention. We regret that you had to encounter such a situation and we will certainly look into this. We have received numerous accolades for our exemplary standards of service and zero tolerance for shortfalls, so it was rather unfortunate to learn that we fell short of some of your expectations and regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. Having said that, I was hoping if you could elaborate on where you think we fell short in our hospitality so that we could ensure you our very best on your next visit. I sincerely hope these incidents will not deter you from visiting us again and assure you that we aim to attain a full rating from you on your next visit. Till then, take care. Best Regards, Rajesh Vijayan

Had been to this resort just to have a view of the hills and to visit the dam. Did not have a good holiday experience here and for the price it definately is not one I would recommend at all. The service at this place is pathetic. They say free wifi services but that is not true. You have no internet service in your room at all. The wifi service is available to you only in their Lobby. If you have to make a call too one has to come out to the lobby to do so. There is no phone network at all available in the resort. The electric kettle in the room too was not working and the hot water in the shower only comes to you in spurts of very hot water and suddenly very cold water. So one has to be very careful when taking a bath nit to get burn. I will stay away from this resort as it needs a lot of fine tuning to be done for the price that they take. Was extremely disappointed.

Dear junereccani21, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Banasura is not a business hotel but rather an experience. Conceptually or metaphorically rather, we would like to believe that mother nature plays host at Banasura Hill Resort and all we ensure is that our guests have a fantastic time in her company. So much so that the rooms at the resort were built from the very earth they stand upon. We assure you that the conspicuous absence of many facilities you’d expect to find in business hotels is a deliberate decision to ensure conformity with our concept rather than an attempt at being frugal by any means. I agree, network connection at times can be poor more because of weather than the terrain. We have taken note of your disappointment with the electric kettle and the hot water in the shower and are investigating the matter. At Banasura we have always taken pride in the service and hospitality that we provide. Your report has prompted us to take additional measures to make sure our guests have a memorable experience. But despite our efforts, if we may have fallen short on your expectations, please accept our sincere apologies. My team and I are confident that we can, if given a chance, make your next stay better. Meantime take care. Best Regards, Rajesh Vijayan

We stayed for 2 nights in November 2021 during rainy days. Location has a nice backdrop of Banasura mountains and offers a unique experience of staying in mud cottages. Staff was courteous and offered a free upgrade to a large mud room with good views of the mountain. Thanks to Joby. Restaurant served good quality, tasty food and offered a variety of food including Kerala, North Indian and Chinese. Thanks to Mahesh and Girish.
