There aren't a lot of lodging choices near my uncle's house for a family party that was going to go late into the night - so while I normally command 4 star this had to be it. “New Owner Is Great”

Wow! If you thought the place was nice before, you'll love it now. The new young man in charge is really caring and thoughtful! Now called the Black Bear Motel. It was very nice!

The rooms were clean and the owners are a nice young couple who are very attentive. If you are looking for glitz and glamor this is not the place for you. I appreciated the quiet and great location. We had everything we needed. I will stay here again when in the area.
