We camped at Baraboo Hills campground early this fall. Found it to be the best Family oriented campground I have ever seen. I plan to recommend it to all my friends. Some of our favorites were: the Yurt we stayed in - very clean, spacious (could accomodate up to 12 people! A yurt is a large (very large) semi-permanent ttent... More

The poor review is strictly for the bad attitude the family that runs this place has. It is clear that they are burnt out. Never (never seems like an exaggeration but it's true!) was there a smile, a thank you or any pleasantries, not just with us but anyone they interacted with- I was watching their interactions with others while... This is definitely a place for kids. It’s like the Disney World of campgrounds. The beach and swimming pond are awesome! The kids had a blast with the dunk tank and bouncing pillow. There were so many things to keep kids busy, we hardly saw them the entire week. One big draw back are the bikes on the bike route.... More

Despite having intermittent rain, we had a great weekend at this campground! We found the facilities clean, the staff very friendly, the activities well planned, and the grounds excellent. With the purchase of wristbands they had about 30 fun bikes to use, a bounce pillow, & spaceball. Free activities included a nice pool, a FANTASTIC beach with tons of fun... More

This is our second year up here and the kids LOVE this place. We decided to get the big cabin this year and liked it. Granted, it's still pretty bare bones (bring your own linens) but the A/C was nice to have, as was the shower, sink... We go up with other friends and my kids have so much fun.... More

Nice campground...one suggestion, put in an outdoor shower, the indoor showers were full of sand, with an outdoor shower campers could rinse the sand off there. More

This was our first stay at baraboo Hill Campgrounds and it was not a disappointment. We have been staying another place for years and decided to switch it up and see what else was out there. Instead of pitching a tent this year we opted for renting a trailer. How have we gone without all these years?? It was clean... More

Yurts are clean and spacious, with microwave oven. Linens should be brought by the guests. There is a common bathroom/toilet for the girls and boys. Free bikes are available and there is a playground for the kids. Bonfire can be set up at a cost. The cottages are pretty small with microwave oven. More

We camped over Labor Day weekend and after getting great reviews from our friends, it was time to give Baraboo Hills Campground a try. It is in a great location that is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Wisconsin Dells, but also a short drive away. Labor Day weekend tends to bring less friendly clientele, but the... A great setting w/ so much to do, the only time we left was to go to Devils Lake which is less than a 1/2 hour away. Our trip was over Memorial Day weekend, so it was busy, busy, but it wasn't a problem at all. The more the merrier, everyone looked out for everyone else. A great family atmosphere.... More
