Enjoyed the music, the drinks, and the atmosphere. Shepherdstown is a quaint little place. Old Style Americana mixed with a cool younger culture. More

Like the reviewer above, I concur, yet with a higher rating. The Mecklenberg Inn has live music tuesday and wednesdays, where the best of the local artists come out to jam. Many of them are recording artists. It's a quirky town, and one might see 40 nose rings on a typical weekend. The Yellow Brick Bank Inn is the place... More

Old victorian style inn above a fun bar with a quaint garden! We stayed in the suite which took up the entire second floor of the Inn. Our sitting room looked over main street Sheperdstown, the bedroom had a very cozy bed and the bathroom (no shower!!! just a clawfoot tub) is across the hall.Evenings weren't too loud as long...
