My niece's wedding was at Lakeview Scanticon Resort about a week ago. The facilities were very nice and they did a great job with all aspects of the wedding planning and execution of the event. The venue was simple, but beautifully decorated and appointed. The room overlooked the mountains and lake. The service and staff were outstanding!!! Well Done Lakeview.....

We stayed in one of the condos as a timeshare in June. The condo was clean BUT everything in it was old and worn. These are 2 floor condos w/bedrooms upstairs. Bathrooms and showers are very uninviting, windows old and glass stained that you couldn't see out of them, TV's were so small and far away from couch and/or bed... More

We recently stayed in the timeshare condos at lakeview. The units show their age and lack of maintenance. At check in received a paper stating we should buy our own tissues, toilet paper, garbage bags , ect. Enjoyed the area and golf. Probably will not return

Attended my niece's wedding this past weekend, as usual Lakeview did a fabulous job. The amenities, food and service were excellent. The Library and Reflections rooms were perfect for her wedding. The beautiful views of Cheat Lake from Reflections added to this lovely day. The staff and management always go out of their way. Thank you Lakeview!!!

For the price, you can stay at a Holiday Inn and have twice the amenities. There are no in-room refrigerators, unless you want to pay an add'l $10 per night. My parents traded in their Orlando timeshare, so that we could attend graduation celebrations for my nephews in Morgantown.
