We spent two nights here -- July 3 - 4. While the rooms are dated, as others have mentioned, that does somewhat add to the charm of staying in a lodge, in my opinion. My husband and I purchased the "sweet heart package" for our 20th anniv. which included 2 nights, 2 breakfasts, 1 dinner, and sparkling cider & champagne glasses. We stayed at the Deer Lodge at the Resort, and it was an appropriate name. We were able to get up close with some very friendly deer, and it was definitely the highlight our 7 year olds weekend. The price was a little high, the mattresses really needed to be replaced, and the seafood buffet was about twice as expensive... more
