My wife and I Simply loved the place. The grounds and facilities are absolutely fantastic. The owners are gracious. I only wish I could have stayed longer. it is true that you will not be "smothered" with service. Thank goodness. We were allowed to wander the property and explore. This was a lovely experience !! The inn is an authentic log cabin (2 actually) and a new bldg on the hill - the lodge. The decor was marvelous and the grounds so peaceful and beautiful. Good grief! I don't know who those whiney people who wrote the last review were, but they need to just stay home! Apparently they are either used to being fetched for and kow-towed to like royalty or they are Motel 6 regulars who thought $100/night ought to buy them some kind of fantasy treatment.
