My family recently purchased a package of the basic cooking series classes for me....perhaps this is a bit of a hint to my cooking abilities? Anyway, over the past several months I have attended cooking classes at this well appointed establishment. The classes are fun and informative and Chef Paul has a very nice way of presenting the material that... More

So far I have taken 9 cooking classes at l'Auberge, with about 5 more scheduled, and I have had a wonderful experience in each of them. Four of the classes were with Chef Paul (basics) and five with Chef Ryan (brunch and a dinner course). Both are excellent teachers and go through great lengths to answer any questions that come... The Groupon Cooking class is excellent; the amount of food was phenomenal. I have booked other classes before and paid full price only to receive very little compared to this class. And to top it off we were able to bring some of the food home. I have never attended a cooking class where you were allowed to take the... More

I have been to this place several times and have always found the proprietress, Nancy Douglas, to be gracious in every way. The house is decorated in beautiful French antiques. It is spacious with a casual country elegance. It is easy to believe that one is not on the outskirts of a large, bustling city, but instead in a quiet... More

Booked their three hour cooking class using a groupon, which was advertised as 53% off. So if that's the case, would t you expect regular menu, ingredients and teaching that you would get had you not Paid for the regular class?!? No. We were constantly told we were a groupon class and had tO cut corners to keep price low.... More

Our Breakfast Brunch class menus are posted on our website…we cook the menus published for that date. Our guests sign up to learn a particular menu, this is important to them. This is very popular hands on cooking class were we cook together and then sit down to a leisurely sit down brunch. No one is rushed out. The 53%... More

I just spent the most relaxing and wonderful weekend at “L'Auberge at The Edge of Seattle B&B Inn” in Woodinville. The Proprietress, Nancy Douglas was very welcoming, the room had everything I could possibly need and more. I stayed in the “Studio” it has a stunning view and access to an outdoor patio. In addition, it has internet wireless access,... More

Last night was the best time I've ever had at a cooking class! Not only was Philippe a fun teacher with patience, a great sense of humor and his charming French accent... but the other "classmates" made it a special night, as well. Nancy, the owner, was so welcoming and friendly that I felt as though we had met before.... More

Had a wonderful, relaxing afternoon at this quaint hideaway near Cottage Lake. I attended the French Regional Cooking Class with Chef Paul Redman. The owner, Nancy, is gracious and constantly on the move attending to all of her guests as an elegant hostess. And learning cooking skills and techniques in a friendly setting of a small group of people was... More

We stayed using a LivingSocial package that included one night in the honeymoon suite, a bottle of vin rousseaux, a massage and breakfast for two (which we upgraded to the country breakfast). The room was large and well appointed, though a little worn in spots. The bathroom was large, with large tub and shower and bidet. The shy might long... More

The good. The settings (buildings and landscaping). The bad: Breakfast was horrible, the service was deplorable. For a background, we have stayed at some very nice B&B's from Savannah, GA to Seattle, WA. The worst breakfast over the years was frozen waffles from a package along with the worst service. Sadly, this one beats that!!!!!!! This B&B had some decent... More
