Nice property; not built in the typical "courtyard" format since it is in a renovated building. The only unique thing is the parking lot is not directly attached to the property, but across the street. Nice public spaces for colleagues to visit. Within walking distance to the YMCA, a local grocer, a park (15-20 minutes), the international glass museum, etc.

Visiting our daughter at University of Puget Sound we have twice stayed at this hotel. Location is convenient for several downtown museums (Historical Museum and Glass Museum) and some decent restaurants including the quirky, fun Renaissance Cafe. Staff is very polite and on top of things which I greatly appreciated. Overall a very good Courtyard experience.

Stayed here while attending wedding at Union Station. Very Convenient. Clean room at good price. If you need a hotel in downtown Tacoma that is near to the Glass Museum, Convention Center, Union Station or UW Tacoma Campus I highly reccommend. Only complaint is that the air conditioner was quite loud and kept going on and off all night.
