for some reason we have always stayed near the Puyallup mall to visit family instead of the Tacoma mall area. We found the Shilo yesterday.....what a fabulous find! Great lobby, fabulous customer service, huge pool/steam/jacuzzi/gym/sauna area, even homemade baked cookies! We got an executive room that was a suite and had a kitchen, and tons of room for us..........will definately... more

We only stay there for 1 night, but it was very satisfactory. Great hotel! not that far from Mt. Rainier. Really good complimentary continental breakfast with waffle bar. not very big eating area, so you kind of have to time when you eat. Indoor Swimming pool open 24 hours a day. My kids love it! more

We were in town just overnight, and were attracted by the 24 hour pool at the Shilo. The staff were very friendly, especially the desk clerks and a jovial maintenance man. I live there for 3 months for business! So really got to know the hotel and staff. It's a little older but cozy and charming. The staff is worth their weight in gold. Very kind and helpful. They bake cookies daily and have great breakfasts too. Pool and work out room is great. more
