The rooms are nice enough and the beds are excellent. The hallways are run down with stained carpet. They were fixing the spa area so the hot tub was unavailable. However, we were allowed to use the facilities at their sister hotel across the road at no charge. Overall, it is a decent place to stay if you get it... more

Stayed here while on a recent stopover in GEG (Spokane). I won this hotel on a bidding site, and was very happy with the price/value ratio. When I landed, I called for the hotel shuttle. As luck would have it, the shuttle was already at the airport. The trip to the hotel took 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the walk to my... more

I got my reservation for this hotel at a great price off of a name-your-price site. It is in a great location, right on the river and a pleasant walk away from the park. The outside of the hotel and the common areas are outdated and could use some work, but our room was quite nice and appeared to have... more

This hotel has seen better days. Rooms are dated, TVs old, cleaning adequate, but routine maintenance is spotty as the staff tries to keep up aging systems. For the money, there are better choices. The location is good and the staff friendly and the rooms comfortable but the inn is no longer up to the price point. more

We decided to take a chance despite recent poor reviews because of a package deal, and we have stayed before and been satisified. This hotel has definitely gone downhill. The bathroom was not clean and we found a used washcloth from a previous guest on the shower rod curtain. The keys worked inconsistently, the air conditioner was annoying loud, and... more

This was a nice hotel. Not fancy and no extras, but it was clean, quiet, and located close to Riverfront Park. The other Red Lion up the street sounds like it has more ammenities (based on the website description), but it was also going to cost more. I was able to ask for a mini-fridge/microwave in my room and paid... more

The hotel is OK, but nothing more. Bed was very comfortable, but the place felt old -- though not dirty. TV didn't work and the lighting in the room was very dark. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent if you want access to Gonzaga Univ. or the Riverfront Park -- it is between the two. We only... more

Spent one night with my daughter who had to have a medical appointment in Spokane. Room was adequate. The air conditioner was annoyingly loud. We were grossed out because my daughter found 2 beetles crawling in her bed: one at night and one the next morning. Shower grout was in need of repair. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. more

Recently my wife and I traveled to Spokane Washington to speak at a convention and do a few stories for the site and upcoming magazine. Since I was scheduled to speak at Spocon on the nearby campus of Gonzaga University, I was happy that we were booked to stay at the Red Lion River Inn. This was our second trip... more

When I booked our room I booked a riverview room. When I checked in I again confirmed that it would be a riverview room. When we got to the room we opened our curtains to find the fence to the tennis courts about 6 feet away from our window!!! No riverview. They did change our room so I was happy,... more
