Really a terrific place. The rooms are authentic and immaculate, the floor is appropriately uneven, and the shared bathroom is nicer than anything I've ever lived in. Roche Harbor is a much nicer place to stay than Friday Harbor, and this is the best spot from which to go whale watching. I wish we'd taken a boat from here rather... more

The Hotel de Haro definitely is beautiful. From outside, it looks lik an old movie set. You can absolutely imagine that you're in the early 20th century, visiting with Theodore Roosevelt.
