My family and I stayed at The Clarion Hotel on August 23rd. This Hotel is an older Hotel and does have some decor issues but the room we stayed in was spacious and clean. Just spent a night there with my husband & children. Smell of cigarette smoke was strong, even after requesting a smoke free room (it's my understanding that with the no smoking law--all rooms should be smoke free?) I loved the pool and the other fantastic amenities, you walk in to a grand lobby, a restaurant with a new menu that is tasty, and a lounge to relax after a hard days work. I had to travel last minute and all other hotels were booked. I ended up at the Clarion. What a dump! Smelled like mildew, the bed was old, hard, a disgusting. Furniture was cheap and old looking. I will never stay at a Clarion again. The backseat of the rental car is better. more
