Just completed a four-night stay. Location is great, as is in-room internet service--no dropped connections, and as fast as cable at home. The fitness room is fine, with one treadmill, one elliptical, and an exercise bike, plus a weight machine and hand weights. The treadmill is older and noisy and didn't want to go above a 3.5% incline, but it... more

Thank you for taking the time to review our property for your recent visit. I am sorry to hear that the beds were not to your liking. We have actually sold almost 50 to our customers who loved them. Was there something particular that did not meet your expectation? My email is: greg.taylor@phoenixinn.com. Thanks Again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Its in a nice location near the waterfront and is within walking distance to down town Olympia. Lets be honest not the most exciting town in the world. The hotel delivered on most counts, a very large bedroom, clean and well equipped. The staff were super. Breakfast and the indoor swimming pool were... more

I believe there are only 4 actual suites in this hotel, but if you can, get one for the night. The space is well worth it. Now for the bad news, I've been a guest of this hotel several times over the past 4-5 years. It is starting to show its age. Now, this is not a 3 or 4... more

Stayed there for one night befor doing a supplier audit. The hotel was booked by the company I visited. When I arrived, I was told they had upgraded me to a suite on the first floor, which was OK by me. The room was spacieous, with an in-room spa and ample room for working and relaxing. There was a new... more

Thanks for the complimentary words in your review of the Phoenix Inn in Olympia. I also appreciated your gentle words on the areas we need to improve. As many in the lodging industry, we are awaiting our next opportunity to capitalize a renovation. Thank you again for your feedback and review. Greg

My two children and I stayed in this hotel in September for one night. We had a such a great time with the pool and great location to the harbor and farmers market, we went back for two nights in October. I was excited we found such a great weekend getaway from Seattle. I added it to my list of... more

No hotel ever wants to be in a situation where guests feel it is better not to stay with them. We of course do all we can to make sure guests are safe and comfortable while at our hotel. I did speak with the guest, we did have our hotel inspected, (nothing found), have met with the inspector again to...

First off, we booked a king-bed room because we had been told they are the rooms with a water view. When we checked in, we were "upgraded" to a suite that, we were assured, had a water view. We were upgraded because they had overbooked king rooms, the desk clerk told us. I was reluctant to take the upgrade because... more

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I feel the same way about the suite style you were in- no windows in the living room area is unfortunately based on building design and cannot be fixed. We too are looking forward to renovations, they currently are tied to a return of the capital markets but we do...

I booked this through Hotels.com and got a low rate so it was really good value for money. It is in a great place close to the river and within walking distance of the attractions of 4th Avenue and also the Capitol Building etc. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped. There was free internet access, parking and continental... more

Thank you for the nice review, we appreciate the kind words. For future reference the body of water accross the street is the Budd Bay Inlet- one of the fingers of the Puget Sound- Pacific Ocean water out there. Recently had a pod of Orcas come quite close to our inlet. Hope to see you again.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights as the "home base" for our trips to various sights near Seattle, which were each about 2 hours away (Port Townsend, Olympic National Park, and Mt. Rainier). The front desk staff is so nice, and they even provide freshly-baked cookies around 4:30 p.m. for the guests. The maintenance man was very... more

We stayed 3 nights at this Phoneix Inn - We had the family suite with 2 queen beds (including TV) and another adjacent bedroom with a king bed and TV. It was very nice to have a little extra room...it included a leather sofa, desk and coffee table area as well. The beds and pillows were great! Very restful sleep.... more

The last night before leaving to Europe we decided to spend in Olympia, State capitol, one hour driving to Tacoma Airport. And it was very good shot. Very calm, nice town, beautiful situated. The next good shot it was choice of Phoenix Inn Suites, perfectly located almost in marina harbour. We had a very large, comfortable suite, with kitchen equipment... more
