This was my first trip to Lopez Island and so looking forward to a girls bike weekend and staying at the beautiful Edenwild B&B. We arrived half an hour prior to normal check in time and received such a cold welcome we reallly felt like we had done something wrong. We advised that we would not be able to stay... More

Man, the location is right, the building is well kept, and the price isn't too bad for the high end BnB scene, so why am I giving Edenwild two stars? The hosts. They like running a BnB, they like keeping the house, they just don't like the guests. A sample: Following the advice of traveler extrodinare Rick Steves, I ask... More

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds; but the bathtub/shower takes more than a little agility and balance to manage. Great breakfast and good location. The "Victorian" spirit is a bit overdone, but that seems to be a part of most B&Bs. More

What a lovely inn. My husband and I just returned from a trip to the San Juans and the Edenwild was certainly one of the high points. Gracious innkeepers, fabulous breakfasts (I mean really fabulous!) and a superb location in the picturesque village of Lopez. We especially enjoyed bicycling the island (on bikes provided at no charge with expert advice... More

Very clean like grandmother’s house, but the owner was very overbearing! I can't believe she was rearranging guests silverware while they ate! She had her own way of doing things, that I found way too much. Too much hovering and she rearranged our belongings in our room. It was funny in a sad kind of way. More

this is just a wonderful choice. we had the best breakfast here, better than any others on our two week trip. there is no reason to consider staying anywhere else on the island. More

What a wonderful inn! Clean and charming, and the hosts were wonderful. Kris and Robert met us upon arrival, made our dinner reservation for us and gave us a nice overview of their place. (They do not stay on the premises, but there is a phone and number to call in case of emergency.) There are "extras" in the room... More

My husband and I stayed at the Edenwild Inn during a bicycle trip this summer. We are not big B&B fans, due to the lack of privacy and quiet (thin walls) that you typically find at such places, but the Edenwild was one of the nicer B&Bs we've stayed at. The room we had (I think it was #2, on... More

I found the property on the Lopez Island Chamber of Commerce Website. We had a wonderful time until we got back to Seattle when I noticed that someone had stolen a very expensive facial cream from my luggage. I called the owner first thing in the morning to report it. He said he would look around for it. He called... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our four night stay. The bed and breakfast was very quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were prepared for us every morning. They had specialty egg dishes and local products. The bed was very comfortable and the room comfortable. Highly recommended. The hotel was located in the little city of Lopez - centrally located. We... More
