The Wesley Inn is a nice motel, with the atmosphere of a well-run family business. Our room was spacious, and we appreciated the frig and microwave and additional sink in the room. I was pleasantly surprised by the personality this place had. I was expecting the standard cement box with windows, but this place was really nice. The lobby is spacious, comfortable and feels more like a small boutique inn than a Best Western. Our suite was nice, beds comfortable (including the pullout that we slept on). This is a great hotel. I stay here when working in Tacoma, even though I can get decent accomodations closer to my office for less. Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. Great staff. Clean comfortable place. I would not stay here for a honeymoon, but I would for a romantic weekend getaway. more

I am generally of the view that chain/franchise hotels, other than resort destinations, are generally all alike -- if there are no problems, and it's clean, that's about all one hopes for. The Wesley Inn, however, stood slightly above the many HamptonInns/Courtyards/HolidayInn Expresses/BestWesterns I've stayed in over the years.
