We stayed one night, not really expecting much. But we were charmed by the manager, Phyllis, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. That was just the beginning. When we asked about local kennels for our dog there were none nearby, but Harrison Christian happened to be there and he made arrangements for the dog while... More

The place is clean and new. The receptionist was super sweet, and the breakfast had it all. Good location. More

Our room was clean, generously sized and comfortable. It included a "kitchenette" with microwave, undercounter refrigerator, cabinets and counter which may be of value to those staying a few days to explore this part of Washington. The breakfast buffet included waffles, bisquits and gravy, cereal, fruit, juice, yoghurt and coffee/decaf. It was tasty and nicely presented. This motel is a... More

We stayed here in July 2011 on the first night of our 12 day trip. The rooms were clean and we had a great night sleep. The next morning was a great breakfast and the owner gave us some great tips on where to drive. We would stay here again if ever in the area. More

Just ok, there's no other choice really. AC took hours to cool room, likewise the refrigerator took hours to cool to proper temp. Didn't see any ants! Breakfast was ok, nothing exceptional. Quite pricey - $100/night - for what was offered. More

My wife and I and our three year old stayed at Mill Village for five nights in August 2011, and we really enjoyed it. It may be the nicest "basic" hotel I have ever stayed at. Rooms are large (we had one king size bed) and very nice and clean. You can tell the owners care about the place. We... More

I had no misconceptions about the motel, having read the reviews and AAA ratings and it was what I expected, a basic motel. the room was clean, and there has obviously been some remodeling, notably new AC units, but there were a few ants in the vanity area and the sheets and pillows had been around for a while. The... More

This hotel was great! We got a great rate and an awesome breakfast! The rooms seemed to be newly remodeled within the last couple years and is in a great location. On a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier out the window and you are about half way between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens! It was a great... More

Our great experience began with making our reservations with the manager, Jan. She was very friendly and helpful. The property appears well cared for and recently updated. Our room, 213 was large and spotlessly clean. The bed was okay, we slept well although were concerned with the thin walls and the neighboring party. All went quiet early enough though. The... More

The motel managers were helpful and very friendly. We were concerned when booking about a previous review talking about ant/bug problems. When we made our reservation we were told that the problem had been taken care of. It was, not a bug in sight! There was a very nice continental breakfast that included waffles, sausage, pastries and a stunning view... More
