Casual and comfortable. Orcas Island is a fantastic place - so quiet and peaceful. No stoplights. I stayed here alone and loved the solitude. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Seaside cottage at the Homestead on Orcas Island. The property is a large one (2 acres?), with two cottages. The Seaside Cottage has a view of the bay and the islands; the Blackberry Cottage (BC) sits directly behind the Seaside Cottage (SSC). We just peeped into the BC while we were there... more
