We stayed there for three nights in March. Although the weather report called for showers and clouds, we lucked out with sunshine most of the weekend. We stayed in deluxe cottage #11. It had the best view of all the cottages and was the closest to the pool, bbq area, and breakfast. We found the accomodations very nice! It had... more

Worldmark property has a few good places...Get Delux cottages only. The other units were dingy, dark and 1950's era cheap motel units. Worldmark advertized ours as "ocean view". There was not only no view, but our "hillside suite" faced solid trees, an alley type road with the resorts dumpsters. We moved to the lakeside cottage and were kept awake until... more

My husband and I are Worldmark owners. We have been extremely satisfied in the past with our experiences at different resorts. We have never had a complaint, as they are EXTREMELY nice resorts. However, we just booked a trip for some of our good friends to go to Deer Harbor. We were proud to show off our high class resort... more

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins, very comfortable, clean, and recently remodeled. The hot tub in the bathroom was a real treat in the chilly fall days on Orcas Island. The king bed was roomy, but not very comfortable and neither was the couch in the living room - adequate, but barely. Any complaints were overshadowed by the... more

Hello, My girlfriend and I really enjoy our stay at the Resort at Deer Harbor. This property was, recently, purchased by the WorldMark/Wynham company. So, its been upgraded somewhat. We stayed in Unit #117 which is considered the 'Honeymoon Suite'! Its actually the garden suite. Its a stand alone unit (not shared walls). The unit was clean, comfortable, and feature... more

Booked reservation through WorldMark (Trendwest Resorts). Had a free one night's coupon from a previous stay at Trendwest's Seaside Resort which had gone awry. Arrived late, after dark, found our room (#115) but nearly killed ourselves trying to walk a very dark pathway that was not lit. Had a hard time finding our room! Screen door was broken, front porch... more

We stayed in the Grand Suite, the GRANDADDY of all units at the Resort at Deer Harbor. This stand-alone unit, #124, has nothing at all between the unit and the harbor. The unit is actually a house, unconnected to any other building. Most, if not all, units at this resort are stand alone units. The suite itself is huge. The... more

We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin, and had a wonderful time. The rooms are very romantic. The view of Deer Harbor was enjoyed all hours of the day, from watching the sunrise on the cliffs and water to the incredible stars at night, while soaking in the hot tub on the deck of our cabin! WorldMark has purchased this resort... more

We had an OK time at this hotel. . . some things great, some things pretty bad, so I guess that averages out to OK. We did NOT get a warm welcome AT ALL. We arrived around 11 AM, not expecting that our room would necessarily be ready, but thinking we could check in, get acquainted with the place, relax... more

We were totally charmed by the Resort at Deer Harbor. Being a bargain traveler, we had chosen to stay in one of the historic cottages (unfortunately being torn down as the resort has been purchased by a timeshare group which will take over the property next year). The cottage was spacious and well-appointed. We had a nice queen bed where... more
