I am a tolerant person, but this was way over-priced for the accomodations. If it were cheap, then, OK, there is a lovely broad flat beach, once you pass the warning signs about you must not walk there because it is an airstrip. Local people clearly enjoy this beach for fishing. And is really is a beautiful beach I consider... more

We stayed in cabin #15 and it was a nice cabin with great windows all around and a nice deck for ocean view. Cabin had nice new wood type flooring and did have kitchen cook ware. The bed's were quite hard but clean. Not an extra fancy cabin but rustic and neatly tucked away in the wood's for privacy. Beach... more

Upon making a reservation, we felt lucky that a cancellation let us sneak in for a night with only 2 weeks notice. However, upon arrival - after flying in from Maryland and Edmonton, and driving an hour and a half from our 3rd friend's house in Olympia - they had no record of our reservation an implied that we should... more

(If I could give the cleanliness a lower rating, I would.) I started going to Iron Springs Resort in 1992, and my experiences have always been mixed, although in early years the good outweighed the bad by a much greater margin, and I kept going there because of the unbelievably wonderful location. Part of the problem has been that there... more

My family has been going to Iron Springs for 30 years. We decided this year is our last. The cabins are dirty, bugs everywhere, even in the beds. We had a baby with us and I almost couln't watch him crawling on the stained, dirty carpet. The staff was some what rude upon check in. We had to go get... more

I've read many of the reviews and I agree with most of them. The location of this place is beautiful. I'm from NC so to see the Pacific Ocean in all its wild glory was quite a treat. Our cabin was at the edge of the cliff with a deck that allowed us to gaze over the ocean and admire... more

I have been staying at this resort for the past 30 years. I love the location. It is quiet and you usually have the beach to yourself. My husband and I take our dogs and head down there and its a blast. This is a rustic cabin atmosphere. Don't go in expecting anything fancy. It is a great place for... more

I read the reviews and saw how some people loved this place and others hated it, with not much in between. We're generally not too fussy and hoped for funky charm. The office is funky charming but that's where it ends. After staying here, the pros: nice location, pleasant beach, quiet and away from the crowds, spacious cabins, nice views... more

We stayed in cabin #14. The cabin and grounds were clean, though a bit run down. There was a fireplace with wood ready to light a fire. The view was AMAZING! There were windows around 180+ degrees of the cabin, all facing the water. We felt secluded and cozy. Access to the beach was interesting. It required walking along the... more
