The propriators are very nice people, but I was not overly impressed with our room. There are not a lot of choices in Colville & I believe that the Selkirk is the cheapest motel in town.

Sherry was very pleasant and helpful on the phone when I called to book our room. We stayed in a very cozy rook with a kitchenette and king bed. i was afraid it would be very noisy since our room was close to the street, but Sherry assured us it would be very quiet, and she was right. She was...

From the time I began corresponding with Shari from the Selkirk about booking accommodations I was very impressed. We were to go to a softball clinic for my daughter and a couple of her friends in Coeur D'Alene in January but were going to passing through Colville and thought that would be a good place to stop. We were unsure...

My family and I rented 2 rooms at the Selkirk during our Thanksgiving visit to Colville and could not have been more pleased. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and any need we had was met with a genuine smile. The rooms were comfortable and clean~ with a location that makes it easy to walk around...

We visited Colville in November and knew we had to stay at the Selkirk based on a referral we received from a family member. We were not let down! Starting at the friendly greeting from the Motel staff, to a delightful room, and great coffee anytime I needed some! I felt at home with Shari and Paul (managers). They made...

The owners are in the process of reclaiming an older motel. That process is ongoing, but shows great promise. The rooms are clean, the hot water is hot, and the beds comfortable. In another year or so, this place should be a gem. The real reason to stay here now, though, is the management staff, Paul and Shari, who make...

I and my site foreman stayed there for 5 months in 2010, got to stay there again recently with my girlfriend, I can honestly say that the manager then, Mack was diffidently a couple of steps above the present managers. my Girlfriend and I have stayed at the Hotel Sorrento and the Mayflower Hotel in Seattle as well as the...

After a horrible experience at Benny's Colville Inn, we stayed at the Selkirk, and it was everything that Benny's wasn't. Warm, friendly, and hospitable staff. Clean, comfortable and quiet. It was a total relief. We will definitely return!
Dirik, Thanks so very much for your review of our motel! We are thankful to hear your trip was a relief.....do come back and see us again soon! We've made lots of positive changes since you were here - we'd love to show you our new King Suite as well as other upgrades.

We weren't here for luxury, we were here for good small town hospitality and a nice comfortable, warm place to stay. WE FOUND IT! We stayed for a hunting trip, due to the snowy weather. Great welcome by their friendly staff and a nice cozy & CLEAN room, with a nice hot shower, TV with choices of channels, mini-fridge, comfy...
