This was our favorite place to stay the whole trip! We went during a more off season so we actually had the whole park to ourselves (minus the owners). It was very relaxing and great to get away from every day world noises. No electricity in the cabins, but that was not a bother to us. They have lights and... More

We chose Eco Park for its proximity to Mt. Saint Helens and for its unique rustic cabin-style lodging. We couldn't face dealing with a boring highway chain as we stepped into the massive natural beauty of the Mt. St. Helen's area. Eco Park met our needs entirely. The cabins are sweet and rustic (propane lights and heat -- which we... More

I'm so glad that we stayed at Eco Park! Most of the accommodations in the vicinity of Mt St Helens are back in Castle Rock, which is over an hour drive to the Johnson Observatory at MP 52 (end of the road). Eco Park is halfway up the mountain and made visiting the rest of the mountain so much easier.... More

Set up our tent there for two nights. Got a nice spot under some trees. Even though this was the 4th of July weekend, the campground didn't feel crowded or noisy. Loved having a clean, hot shower available. Also liked the restaurant, but ended up eating there only once because of the inconvenient (for us) opening hours (9am-6pm). A previous... More

This is a lovely campground for tenting – picturesque, well maintained and in a great location if you’re visiting Mount Saint Helens National Monument. Each of the handful of sites is grassy and spacious, giving you the option of pitching your tent in the open or under the shade of trees. The sites are so private that you will probably... More

We stayed here one night. We really enjoyed the adventure. Make sure that you fill up with gas and bring some food along because the food at the cafe is really expensive. The staff was friendly and told us that we could hike on the horse trails to see the mudflows. They even gave us sandwhich bags to collect some... More

Camping out en route to Mt. St. Helens? Then stay here instead of at Seaquest State Park. This family-run operation is about halfway between I-5 and Johnston Ridge, just a couple miles east of the big sediment retention dam on the North Fork of the Toutle River, between Pullen Creek and the highway. As of this writing, it’s literally the... More

We booked this place after reading the comments here, and I am really glad we did. We spent two nights here at the end of September - I believe it was the end of their main season. We ate in their restaurant - basic, but OK. No beer! They were so kind to keep open so that we could eat... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Eco Park over Memorial Day weekend and loved it!! We chose to go there because of its close proximity to Mt. St. Helen's (Johnston Ridge Observatory). But we would go back because of the friendly service we had! It is run by Mark and Dawn Smith and they were incredibly nice and... More

My husband and I just spent 2 nights in a cabin at the Eco Park resort. We selected it for its proximity to Mt. St. Helen's and it definitely delivered on that count. Nothing is closer to the Johnson Observatory. Another favorite aspect of our stay was seeing deer and elk and hearing the elk call. Wow! Our cabin was... More
