We spent a week in a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo next to the Canadian border and loved it. The unit had a large living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are separated by the living area. A master bedroom with king bed and bathroom is on one side and 2 bedrooms on the other.... More

In mid October, stayed for a week at the Sandcastle while visiting family and enjoyed a suite with a bedroom, bath, living room, outdoor balcony, dining area and kitchen, all in top notch condition, for a bit less than $100 a night, off season. Our only complaint was the late night noise from a wedding reception the floor above and... More

My husband and I stayed in a 2-bedr unit for 7 days at the end of August. The room was beautifully decorated with VERY comfortable furniture and a full kitchen. The weather this time of year couldn't have been more perfect! Our room was located on the 4th floor looking straight out on the water across the street. We enjoyed... More

The hotel was nicer than I expected. Great location - Right across from the beach. Walking distance to several restaurants. Outdoor pool was heated at 90 degrees! Kids loved the pool and hot tub. The room was bigger than expected - full kitchen with everything you could need. Check out was 11am. I wish they would have allowed an extra... More

Our family stayed during July 4th weekend and had a wonderful time. Not only our the fireworks an enjoyment from the top floor balcony, but they offered us a complimentary barbecue beforehand. Kevin with Guest services went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable day. I will beak next year. More

My sister and I stayed in a 2-bed 2-bath unit here on August 4. We had a gorgeous view of the beach and tidal pools. The restaurant - with live music - was directly below our condo, however since the restaurant closed at 10 pm - noise was not an issue. Birch Bay is excellent for families with small children... It provided a nice place to stay at a low quality. Carpets are mucky and worn and the bed room furniture is of low quality. The towels and robes are getting threat bare. While daily housekeeping services are provided, they are unacceptably done. We stayed for two weeks, after the first week we had to call and ask to have... More

We couldn't be happier with our stay at the Sandcastle. The two bedroom was more than we could expect. It was like our 4-star stays in Whistler. As the weather can be quite unpredictable the heated outdoor pool was a savior for our two year old son, while we waited for the tides to move out for digging. We will... More
