We really love older but updated hotels, and this one is a winner. Loved staying in the Fairhaven district of Bellingham...charm galore! The nearby "Village Books" is my new favorite book store...independently owned & full of great finds. Nice restaurants and walking tours all around.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room with interesting furniture, the bathroom immaculate and the afternoon cookies and coffee excellent. But the Fairhaven Village Inn is made even more pleasant by the cries of the gulls and the whistles of the passing trains. We've been there often and will return many more times. Oh yes, the breakfast is exceptional.

Dear Guest, Like yourself, many guests return to stay at the Inn and it delights us each time. Summer months are so special in Fairhaven...outdoor movies and farmers market in the Village Green park across the street from the Inn, easy access to the trail surrounding Bellingham Bay doted with sail boats and kayaks, and, of course, Fairhaven outdoor dining... ...and the Fairhaven Village Inn is right there at the top. I made an error in our reservation and we arrived a day late. Linda at the front desk could not have been kinder or more helpful. Fortunately we could stay one night with family, and we returned to the Inn for the rest of our stay. The inn is... More

Stayed one night and loved it. From the warm cookies at check-in to the freshly made waffles at breakfast I was hooked. The front desk staff are some of the best I have encountered; personable and knowledgable. Room was great but pillows were hard, however I found an alternative soft one in the cupboard. There was a fireplace and air... More

We had a beautiful room with a view of the harbor. The bed was comfy and the room's décor was understated elegance. It was a great getaway for something so close to home. The Fairhaven area is diverse and you can find good food, a great bookstore, and unique shops just footsteps away from the hotel. Boulevard Park, Chuckanut Drive... More

My friend and I have stayed at Fairhaven Village Inn several times over the past few years and it just keeps getting better. Each member of the staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Yes, the breakfast room is small but we have never been kept waiting to enjoy breakfast. Coffee and tea service in the library is a nice touch.... More

My wife and I just spent a Saturday night at the Village Inn and thought that it had a lot of pluses. The location, for one, couldn't be better as it is right in the heart of Fairhaven so restaurants, coffee shops, etc. are all within a block or so. Parking was also very convenient. The interior of the Village... More

The location is very good, you can walk everywhere from the hotel, staff were friendly. We had a room facing the 'park' which was more a street view. We had trouble with the thermostat on the first night, our room was really warm even after we switched it to fan and cool , not digital type. I barely got any... More

We have stayed at the Inn many, many times. The Inn is so charming and has very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed at the Fairhaven Inn on the weekend, it was great, we got one of the last rooms and it was an accessible room with a roll in shower no tub. It only had a queen sized bed but was perfectly lovely. I Was remembered from making our reservation when we arrived and it was our first visit, thats always... More
