I was in Williamsburg on business and wanted a place proximate to the law school. The Fife & Drum was exactly what I wanted: convenient to all downtown locations, good accomodations and not a traditional motel by the highway. Great breakfast. Friendly host. Comfortable room.

This was in the perfect location, within walking distance of the historic Williamsburg locations, and reasonably near a bus stop of the shuttle. My wife and I stayed at the Fife & Drum Inn in Williamsburg for several nights while visiting Williamstown in May 2012. The location was excellent as it is within several hundred yards of the historic area. The accommodations were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpfull with our questions about the area. We would definately recommend this B&B.

Fife & Drum Inn is the only Bed & Breakfast in downtown Williamsburg, easily accessible to everything by walking. The Inn also has nearby dedicated parking for guests, a huge plus!
