I've been to Tangier three times, and I've stayed at the Chesapeake House the last two times, for three nights each time. Located along the "main road" (a term I use very loosely) the lodging accommodations are in two late-19th century buildings. Clean rooms and bedding, combined with the charm of off-level floors and wavy glass windows takes you back... More

Have been to Tangier Island 6 times and going back again in Sept. Have stayed at a few different places, but have always come back to the Chesapeake House !!! Included in the price of the room is "2" all you can eat meals. Breakfast if fabulous and your dinner is crab cakes, ham, bread pudding, homemade hot rolls, beans,... More
