We stayed at the Ruther Glen Red Roof in July 2004. We were traveling from FL to RI with a large dog. I picked up a coupon book at one of the rest stops- price was $40 with coupon. We a got a room in the near the back, near a door. It was a smoking room- and you could definately tell. There were stains and a musty smell. But, there was hot water and no reservation about what kind of dog, what size etc., which is a nice change. There was plenty of room to walk him in the back. And when he barked a little, as all dogs do, no one complained. I would stay there again for the price and the relaxed attitude.
