The home was charming and hostess appropriately so, however, please BEWARE private bath does not mean ensuite bath - in other words, while you may have a private bathroom, it is NOT in your bedroom but down the hall which was a definite deal breaker and unfortunately after the room had been paid for the room. We really enjoyed our stay. Wendy's a terrific cook and gracious hostess. If we are ever in the Roanoke area again, we will definitely go back to Rose Hill! More

This was one of our favourite places to stay on our recent trip to the States. The house is beautiful and the owner Wendy is so eager to please.
