I've never written a hotel review before but after one night at the Roanoke Howard Johnson, I feel the need to warn others. My room smelled like cat pee, my mother's smelled like bug spray. Traveling back from North Carolina to PA, we stopped overnight to stay at this hotel because they allow dogs. We have a small and well behaved chihuahua.
