Someone's towel on bathroom floor behind door, someone's clothing left in drawer, ripped lampshades, phone didn't work, only one lamp had a bulb in it. Bed and rug looked filthy. We slept in our clothes! If we hadn't been traveling for so long that day, we would have walked out. Wish I had thought to take pictures! more

I have to agree with all of the comments made about this hotel, except that for I found that the front desk was helpful(2 x different staff). The shower in the room was also ok. Cobwebs, stains, beer bottle tops, were all existing in room, and I cannot believe it had been either occupied or cleaned within a month. more

Short tempered employees, water stained chairs in room, dirty floor in room, musty bathroom/shower, and a general bad vibe about the place in general. Although the internet access was free, it was VERY slow. Found a slightly better rate on their own web site and they wouldn't accept AAA discount either. more

We needed a hotel close to the Civic Center, about a half mile from the house my son just bought, so we could crash after two full days of painting and cleaning before he could move in. I booked one night at this motel through Hotwire for $39 plus taxes for a total of $51.29. On one hand, this motel was exactly what I had expected for the price: scummy and rundown. I was attending a party in Downtown Roanoke and this was the closest place to downtown. I had to wait and wait for the desk clerk. We had been to three other hotels looking for a room but there was several events going on that weekend so every one was full up. We try to never stay at Days Inns anymore because so many of them are now owned by the Patels and they just do not seem to care about maintaining any of there propertys.... more

Booked for 06/25/08 room 207 -bed was not made. towels all over floor, coffee pot half full. Room stunk from alcohol. The most disgusting hotel in North America. Please do not take you family there. We went back to the front desk & cancelled our room booking on the spot! more
