Excellent website. Recently and very tastefully modernised interesting house. Lovely extensive, mature garden. Great attention to detail, and felt very much at home. Tea and biscuits on arrival. Really good breakfast, and served an excellent private dinner prepared by a local chef. More

We saved the best for last. My husband and I roamed the North Island for a week by ourselves before we joined our tour group in Auckland ( a three hour drive away). Kauri Cliffs golf was about 25 minutes drive from Moongate, a perfect alternative to staying at Kauri Cliffs ( very expensive). Moon gate offers an idyllic oasis... More
