Let me start by saying the Star is still an acceptable place to stay. We stayed here 7 years ago and it was outstanding. Thanks for your review. Please note that the Walhalla Goldfields Railway is now back to full operation as the landslip has been repaired. The train operates ever Sat/Sun/Wed, public holiday and daily between Boxing Day and Australia Day and the Easter School holidays. It's a great trip, we highly recommend it to all of our guests who stay.
