Great place to stay if you want to see the Tamar valley and wineries, and only fifteen minutes to Launceston to boot. We stayed in a spa suite. Firstly keep in mind this is owned by Gunns Ltd, not renowned as the pinnacle of forestry conservation. This was a great place to stay. If you want something just out of Launceston (10 minute drive) then this is a great choice. It is on the wine trail which is the reason we stayed here.
