Checked in and there were nice crispy apples in a bowl, ice cold water. Refreshing after a hot day in southern CA. The breakfast was good-yogurt, waffles, cereal. We get a room away from the interstate and it's quiet. More

The La Quinta properties are apparently independently owned because I've had very bad to very good experiences at these hotels.
