We went here for dinner and decided to move hotels. The view ,the service and the overall cleanliness was a breath of fresh air. Our rooms were spacious and had the most amazing view of the bay. We enjoyed the pool and walked down to the beach and were comfortable swimming in the Carribbean. More

Spacious clean rooms, balconies with amazing views of Jacmel Bay, nice patio area restaurant, pool, beach cove steps down from the hotel, friendly service, safe for valuables, cable TV, mini-fridge -- all these things make it an excellent place to stay. Drawbacks: Be prepared for very slow service in the restaurant. The breakfast included with the room is mediocre but... More

We stayed at this hotel for the first time this week while we were in town to visit friends. The room was clean and comfortable. It it was a bit plain the view from the private balcony more than made up for it. We were in town during Caye Jacmel's patronal feast day so there were some great parties and... More

Beautiful setting. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good service and very good cuisine. The pool cleanliness was not up to U.S. standards. However, it was raining during our entire stay. More

We actually visited this hotel in April 2010. Our group has stayed in hotels in Haiti and this by far was the best one yet. Rooms were clean, food was good and the view was outstanding. Not too far from the hub of Jacmel. I was expecting alot less and was pleasantly surprised. Price was expensive, but that's Haiti everywhere More

The best view, best food, best atmosphere in Haiti. The ocean view is marvelous and the employees at this Hotel made you feel very special. Was in Jacmel on a missions trip and felt mostly guilty about the digs we were staying in compared to the people we were there to help. Met the owner of this assume hotel and... More

Stayed two nights at this hotel after working in Haiti. The hotel has a great pool...but the walk down to the beach is far. This is one drawback if you want easy access to the ocean. The views are amazing. Rooms comfortable and clean. Dinner each night was fabulous and there was live music one evening. It is a drive... More

I spent two complicated weeks in Haiti and this hotel made it. It`s way more than you'd expect: new, clean, big rooms facing the sea, great food, helpful personnel. Actually I am having breackfast by the pool enjoying the wiev and the internet while weitting my comments. Of course I`m not into the habit of rating the hotels but this... More

We stayed at Cap Lamandou for 3 days coming from bainet for a family reunion of 16 of us ranging from 10 to 55+ years old. Some of our relatives are also from Jacmel so we wanted to visit prior to going back to Port-Au-Prince. The hotel is nicely situated overlooking the ocean and the mountains. Upon arrival, the kids...
