Like many others, I too have read numerous reviews about this hotel, some very negative. What I have to say is that those negative reviews must be coming from people who have exceedingly high expectations for what they pay for. ROOM: - Big, spacious, simple. Card lock. A small fridge, but I didn't see if it worked. The A/C worked... more

Just a update to everyone thinking of vacationing at the Oasis Villa Coco AKA- Villa Gaviota Coco. 3 days after arriving at home I had not yet unpacked my luggage. Procrastination was getting the best of me. Finally I decided to set my luggage on the end of my bed and unpack. I placed the luggage there mid afternoon and... more

This was an inexpensive trip that we took our children on. Not much else was available in this price range that would accept two children in a room with both parents. We understood that we were going to a 3* resort but clearly it is only a 2* at the most. The resort is 8 years old and in terrible... more

We went expecting very little, based on reviews we had read before leaving. The room was spotless. The food was not spectacular, however there was always more than enough to eat, and Antonios burgers and fries were always there. The most amazing part of the whole trip was meeting and getting to know the staff. When we left it felt... more

Just returned from a 1-week vacation at the Villas Oasis with my husband and two other couples. As we paid only $755.00 (including taxes) for the week I wasn't expecting much, especially from some of the mixed reviews. This was probably the cheapest trip we've taken over the years but found that it surpassed our expectations overall. The resort was... more
