The first review is spot on! Rudy and his wife Ione rent out the bottom floor of their new house--just up the road from JVD's Great Harbour. The clean and super-modern apartment features a large kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge, and range; a spacious bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed; a sunny deck overlooking the harbour; a clean bathroom; and a nice sitting area. Plus, Rudy and his wife go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The TV and DVD player don't work - but who's gonna watch the, anyway when you have White Bay Beach within a 25 minute walk over the hill. You can also walk to famous eating places like Foxy's and Corsairs, or schedule a dive or snorkeling trip at Jost Van Dyke Scuba.

Call Rudy directly to book the apartment, and pay in cash ($150/night or close to that). There's not trouble about this old-fashioned arrangement. But be sure to pick up groceries on St. Thomas or Tortola before arriving. There's not much... more
