Very friendly reception; "shall I show you around". Spacious and comfortable rooms (stayed three nights with a party of 7; three rooms), very good beds. Excellent restaurant (had dinner twice) with limited menu. Separate room to relax. Hot tub in the basement. Breakfast good. Very good location to enjoy Gros Morne NP. Tip: drive to the harbor at Norris Point... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Inn. The room exceeded our expectations. The free laundry and internet services were very much appreciated. We were very pleased with our dining experience and enjoyed our breakfasts as well. In light of the Inn’s location (no views to speak of), a priority needs be placed on landscaping. The sea of gravel... More

This Inn is extremely comfortable. We had a suite with lots of windows and two entrances. Norris Point is rather remote and the Sugar Hill Inn is the only place to stay. The restaurant for dinner is great, excellent food and service, if a bit pricey. Lodging also was more than we paid anywhere else on our trip. But they... More

I was really excited to come and stay at this Inn as I had read favourable reviews and it had come recommended by friends who had stayed there about ten years prior. I guess I should have researched more carefully because the location did not meet our expectations. The Inn was located right alongside a busy highway- like road, right... More

The Inn's restaurant is second to none. The food here is quite lovely and a real fine dining find in the middle of the National Park. The menu has something for everyone, including vegetarian fare. The food features creative recipes with an emphasize on what is fresh and can be procured locally. The wine list is superb and impressively extensive... More

Very nice property located in Gros Morne National Park. We had the small cabin number 11. It was well appointed but a bit small. Service was excellant. The Inn provides a very good breakfast as part of the price and has a very good restaurant, which we recommend for a fine dining experience. The indoor hot tub was a bit... More

We were concerned when we arrived because much of the outside of the building is in need of a coat of paint and there are no welcoming signs indicating that the building is in fact the Sugar Hill Inn. Inside the hotel, it is clean and modern and we experienced a very friendly and helpful reception. All the facilities are... More

Gros Morne National Park, Nfdl., lives up to its reputation as a gorgeous place to visit. So does this hotel's advertising! We spent our first day in the park hiking up the mountain trail to the lookout behind the Information Centre, a very steep, rocky path not well suited for two people in their 60s unaccustomed to such exercise. It... More

This place is up on the hill and nowhere near any water. There was a view of the Pharmachoice and some trees, with the sound of the road and people walking above. Breakfast was continental with a choice to pay $5 for oatmeal or $10 for a cheese omelet. We paid $210 per night without tax. One would think an... More

We are sorry our Inn did not live up to the expectations of these guests. We do not advertize that we are on the water, however you can see the water from several rooms on the south end of the building. The suite that these guests stayed in has one regular sized window that looks out on the Pharmachoice, as... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Sugar Hill Inn in July 2011 and it was amazing. There was attention to every detail, very clean, wonderful staff which made you feel welcome. Fine dining with the best tasting steak in my life, and the wine list certainly compliments the dining. Our favorite waitress Nina, will be sure to... More
