Did not stay at hotel but ate their twice while staying on the Island. Food is first class with a varied menu at reasonable prices.
Didn't stay in the hotel but used the restaurant for dinner twice. Good food, quick service, friendly staff. Really enjoyable. Lovely views from the dining room. Good selection on the menu plus specials. Big desserts. Very lovely place to eat.
THis is my 4th visit to this hotel and the best so far. My room was clean and tidy, the wet room also. The decor in the hotel has improved considerably. The staff were welcoming and the food was excellent. It is such a shame that the outside needs smartening up. May be this is on the cards. Visitors should...

I have stayed in many a hotel but this is the worst. Fantastic location so why oh why can the owners not invest in the building. The entrance to the hotel is a sign above a door that could be an entrance to a toilet block. Our room was plain with not even one picture on the wall and damp...

As others have said, first impressions are that its a bit run down. The facade is tired at best. The interior is a bit shabby. The room was basic and relatively clean. Absolutely nothing fancy.
Having said that, the bar has a good atmosphere, the food in the restaurant was good and the staff are nice. so overall pretty good....

The hotel is in need of major renovation. The place is clean and tidy but freezing. The heater did not work. The bath was all stained and the shower was terrible !! Would try and find somewhere else.
Room was warm and cosy, comfortable bed with good quality sheets and duvet.....last room available so my en-suite was across the corridor.....but apart from that all good. Food much better than expected.
We had a delightful dinner at the Scarinish Hotel while on Tiree. The mackerel pate was the best I have ever had and the crab pasta was very fresh. We sat at the window and looked out on the harbour on a sunny evening. It doesn't get much better than that.
thankfully only stayed a couple of nights.
room was clean but old fashioned. bar was dirty toilets a disgrace, freindly staff and locals, food was decent but had to drive a couple of miles to tiree lodge to get breakfast in the morning. take a tent and camp its cheaper and more fun. the only saving grace is you're close to...
