Basic little pub-with-rooms in a beautiful setting opposite a large green. Small terrace outside for sunny drinking or al fresco eating. Dinner looked decent though I didn't have any myself. The bed was comfortable, nice bedding, good clean towels, and the shower was big and easy to adjust. There was also free wifi which was great. Staff weren't great, 2... More

like every innkeepers lodge, this is a bit tired, worn and in need of an upgrade. The room we had (208) at best could be called compact and bijou, but was spotlessly clean and big enough for 2-just. The car park, apparently never has any security problems and it was great to park the car and walk to Woking train... More

I stayed here on and off for the best part of the best part of 2 months. Think of it more as a pub with rooms attached and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Rooms are of a good standard, beer's good and foods is of a high standard for pub grub. Staff were always helpful.

I have stayed here 3 times, and even though it has improved a bit, it is still not what the page says it is. There are only stairs, and getting the luggage up is a pain (and noone, noone helps). Rooms are tiny -like my bag was in the bathroom because it would not fit in the room-. Heat was... More

The location of this Inn is perfect if you need to be in Woking the next day; it's a 5 minute walk into the centre. I was a little confused as to where to check in but it's simply a case of doing so at the bar. The room was small and down a fairly windy series of corridors but... More

Stayed here as very closely located to our friends' house. For the money this hotel is decent enough. Pretty shabby and in need of a refurb but it served it's purpose for us for one night. Cooked breakfast not included in the room rate but cost a fiver which is goo value. We would stay here again if our friends... More

I am staying at this hotel as I am attending a training course at the nearby Wick Hill training centre. I arrived on a Thursday evening and parked around the back with no problems, plenty of free parking on site which is a bonus! I went through to the bar and checked in, there is no check in desk as... 10 minutes from Woking Railway Station. Essentially, you exit the station and if you were a crow you'd turn left and go in a straight line. On foot, theres a few street corners and a busy main road to cross. ASk for directions at the station. THe accomodation is like an annex to the Wheatsheaf pub. Pub staff were extremely... More

The staff are very rude, the food abysmal, the rooms grotty and the noise from the bar below ensures that you will not get an early night. Just do not go there.

I love it here. I stayed here every week for three years, and only once had a bad experience, when the electricity in my part of the building shorted out and cut the power off, but that wasn't their fault. I've stayed in most of the rooms, but I always used to ask for room 110. It's in a part... More
