.. I usually do but I was just looking for a room for a one night business trip and I've liked Campanile's in France. Frankly, if I were the company I'd shut this down - not because its so bad for what you pay but because it would certainly have put me off staying in another if I'd found this... More

To be honest for £35 what do you expect not like your staying in a 5* hotel it's £35 your paying for a night with a roof over ye head so can't really moan hot water bed tele and hair drier what more can you ask for it's value for money if you ask me bit noisy but hey you... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this 'Hotel' overnight as we were going on holiday the next day flying from L.Pool Airport. Pretty cheap, only £32 for the night however we wouldnt really call it a Hotel, its more like a Motel, a scary gloomy one at that. Our room was fine but smelt of stale smoke and the toilet... More

Not in the most welcoming of areas but handy for the town centre (about 10 minute walk) and close to the railway station. By comparison to its French counterparts it's not in the same league. Efficient check-in and given a room on the upper floor. The room was a bit gloomy inside but was clean and tidy. You wouldn't spend... More

My husband and I stayed at the campanile for a 30th birthday party with a group of friends who had also booked rooms. We didnt expect luxury as we only paid £35, however there was utter disapointment when we pulled into the carpark. The building looked very uninviting and can hardly claim to be a hotel it is most definately... More

The building needs a facelift. The rooms are musty, poorly lit and the towels were stained and grey. We were given new towels, so they must have realised what they were giving us. However, the grey ones kept coming back. The room was claustrophobic and poorly lit. The bedding was clean, thank goodness, though the duvet had some small holes.... More

Awful place. Stairwells are disgusting and look like drug users dwell there. Rooms are depressingly brown and out of the 1970s. Expensive too and clearly trade is encouraged only because of the hotels close proximity to Runcorn railway station. The place hasnt seen a lick of paint for years either. Needs bulldozing! More

Stayed here for 2 nights after not being able to get a room in our usual hotels in Chester, so we decided to give the Campanile a go. Its very different compared to a hotel, as the reception was seperate from the actual building containing rooms. The lady on reception was friendly, we were checked in quickly, and given our... More

Stayed for only one night & even though we arrived very early in the morning, the staff at the reception were very friendly & accomodating, letting us check in well in advance of the scheduled check in time. The hotel itself is very clean & tidy &while the location might not be to everyone's liking, it was ideal for me... More
