My partner and I were recommended this hotel by family who thought it was lovely and luxurious. Mike and Sheila were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The room was really wonderful, beautiful furnished and spotless, and the bathroom "to die for". Breakfast was excellent and Mike made you feel very welcome.

My Mum lives in Balderton and whenever I travel down there to see her, this is where I choose to stay. Sheila and Mike are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Rooms are fabulous. Breakfast delicious. It is an absolute delight and pleasure to stay there.
