We booked this hotel for our wedding reception, we found all the staff to be very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was brilliant, food was lovely and all our family and friends gave great feedback on the accommodation. We would defintely recomend this venue for family events and functions. more
At a fantastic budget price, we found this hotel by chance. At quarter of a mile from jct 5 of the M61 motorway at Bolton (with plenty of free parking) it's perfect for travellers stopping off en route and is equally placed between Manchester & Preston. my daughter and I stayed in this "bates motel" last weekend. The owners are lovely people and very hospitable. But sadly the establishment itseld leaves a lot to be desired. We had our wedding reception here and stayed over and are regular visitors to the weekly entertainment evenings. Fantastic atmosphere, really friendly owners and staff. Food excellent, organisation fantastic. Really welcoming to ourselves and all our guests. Would and will recommend this venue and hotel to anyone. more
Hotel is tatty and very lived in, with chipped paint, worn carpets and the smell of damp in some of the bedrooms. more

I have been using this Motel for some months now and have found the food excellent and evening entertainment good eg Quize nights Sing alongs,etc It is great to finnish work and relax in this atmosphere. more
